Lahore: A delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) will arrive in Karachi tonight for a four-day visit to assess preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy.
According to sources, the six-member delegation will review the arrangements at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi and inspect the proposed training facilities for the teams.
Meetings with hotel management teams are also scheduled to discuss accommodations and amenities for the teams. Additionally, security officials will provide briefings, and discussions will be held on security measures.
In the second phase of their visit, the delegation will also visit Islamabad and Lahore to review the arrangements in these cities in a similar phased manner.
It is worth mentioning that this is the fourth ICC delegation to visit Pakistan overall to assess the preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy.
