Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has broken Bhuvneshwar Kumar's record for the most maiden overs in T20 cricket. While playing for Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the Caribbean T20 League, Mohammad Amir surpassed Bhuvneshwar Kumar's record of 24 maiden overs and now ranks third globally with 25 maiden overs.
The record for the most maiden overs is currently held by Sunil Narine with 30, while Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan is in second place with 26 maiden overs.
At 32 years old, Mohammad Amir continues to deliver outstanding performances in domestic T20 formats. He has taken 347 wickets in 302 matches and has claimed five wickets in seven matches in the ongoing Caribbean T20 League.
